Gain Support for External Research Funding

Sponsored Programs Administration in the Office of Research provides extensive support to principal investigators seeking external funding for research and creative scholarship at Â鶹´«Ã½y. All proposals for external funding (grants, subawards, contracts, consulting agreements) must be approved by the PI and their chair and dean in Cayuse, Â鶹´«Ã½'s electronic grants management system, PRIOR to proposal submission. Please note that the Â鶹´«Ã½y Research and Service Foundation (Â鶹´«Ã½RSF) is the legal applicant for proposals. The staff works closely with researchers at both the pre- and post-award stages to ensure a seamless operation.

Research Liaisons

Research Liaisons are new support staff at Â鶹´«Ã½ providing support for faculty as they seek, apply for, and implement sponsored projects. Our goal is to assist you with research endeavors as efficiently and effectively as possible. College Research Liaisons can recommend resources to help navigate the various stages of a sponsored project and to direct a PI to the appropriate office or point of contact for answers to specific questions. Sponsored Programs Administration Enhancements

Proposal Submission Procedure

A complete proposal package must be submitted to the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration by 8:30 AM five full business days prior to the sponsor deadline. If SPA does not receive the required documents by then, please view below to review the full Proposal Submission Procedure.
