Welcome to the Research Service Foundation

The Â鶹´«Ã½y Research and Service Foundation (Â鶹´«Ã½RSF), Inc. is the contracting entity for externally funded projects at Â鶹´«Ã½. Â鶹´«Ã½RSF was incorporated under Georgia law as a nonprofit corporation on September 7, 2005 and was granted 501(c) (3) status on December 20, 2007, with August 29, 2005 as the effective date of exemption. Â鶹´«Ã½RSF serves Â鶹´«Ã½y as a University System of Georgia-approved cooperative organization.

Â鶹´«Ã½RSF fulfills two roles:

  • Â鶹´«Ã½RSF is the applicant institution for all proposals for external funding, and awarded projects are subcontracted to Â鶹´«Ã½ under a master agreement between Â鶹´«Ã½RSF and the University. Please visit the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration website for more information.
  • Â鶹´«Ã½RSF is the agent charged with assisting faculty, staff and students in the protection and management of intellectual property on behalf of the University, to further the research mission of the University and support expanded scholarship opportunities.
